After the quarantine period is over, the domain is available on the free market on a first-come first-served basis.

Where can I get the authorisation code?

Accordingly with ICANN rules, some domain transfers need to be authorised by entering a code, which can be acquired at your current domain registrar. kladno z ICANN-ovim pravilnikom je pri nekaterih domenah potrebno prenos avtorizirati tudi z vnosom avtorizacijske kode, ki jo dobite pri obstoječem registrarju domene. You can find your registrar's data at http://www.whois.domenca.com

What do I need to know before I start transfering my domain?

1. You need access to the administrative e-mail. You can check out which is the administrative e-mail by visiting http://whois.domenca.com.

Example:
  • Domain Name: MICROSOFT.COM
    Administrative Contact: Microsoft Hostmaster
    (MH37-ORG) msnhst@MICROSOFT.COM
    Microsoft Corp
    One Microsoft Way
    Redmond, WA 98052
    US
    425 882 8080 Fax- - - .: 206 703 2641

The administrative e-mail for microsoft.com is msnhst@microsoft.com. If you had access to this account you could transfer it or change settings.

2. In some cases the domain cannot be transfered:

  • if You do not have access to the administrative e-mail and you therefore cannot confirm the transfer,
  • if the domain is avout to expire (a few days before the expiration date) or has already expired,
  • if the domain is, for any reason, locked by the current registrar,
  • some registrars do not allow the domain to be transfered if it is less than 60 days before the expiration date.

3. We do not return funds for a domain transfer that was not complete. You can use these funds for a transfer of registration of an other domain

Will I be notified before my domain expires?

You will be notified 90, 60, 30 and 5 days before the expiration date. We will send you these reminders to your administrative e-mail.

IMPORTANT: If you are not following your administrative e-mail, you will not be able to follow these reminders.

We have recieved a message that our domain has been renewed, but it is still not working. What is up with that?

All changes regarding domains (registration, renewal, DNS settings) come into effect in 24-48 hours - when the global WHOIS database is refreshed. To avoid any possible annoyances, please renew your domain in adequate time.

How can I manage my domain?

After registering a domain with us, you can access the Control panel at:

http://moja.domenca.com/cp

Here you can change your owners', administrative, payment and technical contact, register new DNS servers and add new users of the domain. You can also transfer the ownership of the domain (selling it) to a new user, unless where other procedures are required by the registrar (.si, .eu ...).

IMPORTANT: To access the control panel, you need to provide your user data. You provided your username and password in the second step of the registration - they are activated together with your domain, 24 to 48 hours after the registration.

I have lost my username and password. What now?

For your safety, we do not store users' usernames and passwords for better.

You can retrieve your lost or forgotten password through your administrative mail. You can check out which is your administrative contact via http://whois.domenca.com.

If this address is not valid, the owner of the domain can file for a change of the administrative e-mail contact.
Please fill the form and send it to our fax on +386 4 58 31 999.

I am wondering if I can change the name of my domain. If it is possible, how can I do it?

The domain name is the only part of the domain, which can not be changed during the period it is registered for. Domain registrars do not accept cancelations, so we cannot refund you. We suggest you register an additional domain and then renew only the one you wish to keep. You can also use this to your advantage: search engines will index both of your domains, increasing the amount of visitors to your site.

I wish to change the DNS servers for my domain, but I keep getting an error message. What is wrong?

  1. Your DNS servers are not registered. You can find registered DNS servers on http://www-whois.internic.net/cgi/whois - type in your IP address or your DNS.

  2. Your domain is locked. In this case, you can not make any changes. If the domain is registered at Domenca, you can edit this at http://moja.domenca.com/cp
  3.
  4. Your domain is being transfered. Data cannot be changed during this period.
  5.
  6. When changing DNS servers, enter only names of the servers, not IP addresses - this is not possible.

How to renew a domain registration?

By renewing a domain, you renew your ownership right to the domain. The process is simple:

  1. fill out the form on our site and enter and your user data
  2. after completing the form, you will recieve a confirmation e-mail with payment instructions,
